The love for horses, like for so many, started when I was very young. And over the years, that love has intensified and grown, and helps motivate me to keep chasing my dreams of working with horses and other people that share the same love.

Through the years, I have experienced multiple disciplines, visited and worked out of various barns, and have built relationships with many people and horses. All of these factors, the good and the bad, have influenced who I am striving to be as a rider, trainer, and instructor. I have found that finding the right group of people can help you through the most difficult of times, provide the needed advice and instruction, as well as celebrate successes. Susan (Coester) Daufeldt, Bill Coester, Lou Ann Wulf and many others, including the many friends I have found over the years, have had a huge influence on my life with horses.
One that can have bumps, twists and turns. My journey has had many of these, and is continuing to teach me to roll with change, set backs, as well as to stay committed to my values. Part of this journey, is the continuing of education. The more I experience, the more apt I can train horses and improve my teaching for students.
I have been very fortunate to work at some amazing farms, with one of the best being my current place of residence, Wulf Run Farm. Lou Ann and Ron have given me so many opportunities to further my education, improving me as a rider and providing the needed support while getting my business started and to grow. For all of this, I am going to be forever grateful and continue to strive to grow as an instructor and rider.
Where everything starts is at Wulf Run Farm. This awesome little farm on the outskirts of Davenport, IA is owned and managed by Lou Ann Wulf and Ron Fugslang. They have been in the horse business for well over 40 years, and they bring that wealth of knowledge into the care and well being of the horses on the farm.
